Perhaps due to its romantic plot and beautiful pictures, "Rurouni Kenshin" has always been a hot spot for adaptation into musical stage plays, with new episodes performed almost every year. The latest "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Arc" musical is scheduled to open on November 3 this year. Today, on July 16, the official released the cast list of a large number of main characters. "Rurouni Kenshin" is a masterpiece by Japanese cartoonist Nobuhiro Watsuki. It tells a romantic story of the most stubborn Meiji Restoration period in modern Japanese history. It has been adapted into animation, movies, and stage plays, and is deeply loved by fans around the world.

The latest musical "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto" is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo from November 3rd to 12th. The script and stage direction will still be handled by Shuichiro Koike, the director of the 2016 and 2018 "Rurouni Kenshin" stage plays. Stay tuned.

The first main character Kenshin Himura has been confirmed to be played by Teppei Koike, and his makeup photo was released at the same time. The other main characters from top left are: Teppei Koike, Mario Kuroba, Yuya Matsushita, Seishiro Kato, Takumi Kisu, So Okuno; from bottom left to bottom are Airi Kisaki, Rio Suzuki, Ayase Senna, Shohei, and Mamiya Yamaguchi.
