Sony clarifies: Uncharted movie has not started filming yet

Yesterday, Tom Holland, the "Little Spider-Man", uploaded a picture with the word Nate on his personal Instagram, with the caption "Day one #uncharted", which seemed to imply that the filming of the "Uncharted" movie had already started. However, it seems that this is not the case.

A Sony representative told IGN that production on the Uncharted movie has not yet begun, but preparations are underway and they hope to begin filming as soon as possible.

The film "Uncharted Waters" was originally scheduled to start production at the beginning of this year, but due to the epidemic, the production plan was postponed. Sony officials later did not provide a new time. This time, it may be that Holland was a little too excited again and shared something he shouldn't have shared.

Currently, the "Uncharted" movie is directed by Reuben Fleischer, the director of "Venom" and "Zombieland", and Mark Wahlberg plays Sully, but a few years ago, Mark Wahlberg was originally going to play Drake.

The Uncharted movie is currently scheduled to be released in July 2021.
