New progress in the theft of Japan's "crappy Gundam" light gun, local students finally succeed in replicating and restoring it

Not long ago, the light gun in the hands of a famous local landscape statue called "Crappy Gundam" in Hiraishi District, Fukushima City, Japan was stolen, which caused a public uproar (reported by this website). On June 17, the incident finally had a relatively satisfactory ending. After learning about this, local students worked hard to imitate and restore it, and finally let the "Crappy Gundam" return to its "former glory"!

Although the society unanimously condemned it, it is estimated that the original light gun will never be restored. However, six third-year students of the local Fukushima Institute of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering, led by their teacher Fuji Akihiro, spent a week to highly restore the original light gun and reinstall it on the "crappy Gundam", which immediately looked "tall and majestic".

However, netizens are still a little worried about whether they should weld the gun to the Gundam to prevent it from happening again. In any case, the "crappy Gundam" has finally regained its "former glory"!
