The manga "My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student" created by Murata Yamoto was first serialized in "Weekly Comic TIMES" in May 2018 and ended in December 2022. In addition to winning the 11th place in the paper comic category of the "Next Manga Award 2019", this work also started a TV series of the same name produced by TBS on January 21, 2022.

It is understood that the animation adaptation of "My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student" was originally announced in March 2023. It will be produced by St.Signpost, directed by Abe Noriyuki, and script-related work by Hirabayashi Sawako. In terms of voice actors, the male protagonist Keisuke Niijima is voiced by Hirakawa Daisuke, Yuuki Aoi plays the female protagonists Takae Niijima and Marika Shiraishi, and Nomura Maiko plays the daughter of the male and female protagonists Mai Niijima.

The animated series "My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student" is expected to be officially aired in October. The story will tell the story of Keisuke Niijima, who was devastated by the loss of his beloved wife 10 years ago. One day, an elementary school student who claimed to be Niijima's wife broke into his life. Keisuke Niijima's life, which had once lost its motivation, started moving again because of her appearance.
