I believe many of my friends have bought the various anime stickers that often appeared in stalls when they were young, and they are still pasted on some of their favorite objects. Today, on June 4, the Yokosuka Police Station in Kanagawa, Japan announced that it had filed a lawsuit against a 61-year-old male salaryman who was suspected of copying stickers of Hatsune Miku and Madoka Magica.

According to information provided by the police, the man had used his own printer to copy stickers of well-known anime characters including Hatsune Miku and Madoka Xiao and sold them since 2018. It is reported that as of the time of the incident, his bank account had accumulated up to 3.4 million yen in sales remittances.

The man's reason for copying and selling stickers without permission is a bit special, "Because he is a fan of the famous voice actor Mizuki Nana, he did this in order to go to her concert."
