April Fools' Day: Kadokawa announces that Date A Live will be released as a live-action movie

Today (April 1st) is April Fools' Day. In addition to major game companies, Japanese publisher Kadokawa is also not to be outdone. The official recently announced that the popular series "Date A Live", which was originally written as a light novel and has launched multiple comics, animations and games, will soon launch a live-action movie.

Although the information about the live-action movie is not true, the official has released several photos of emerging actress Nitohime Minamino dressed as one of the most popular characters in the series, Tokisaki Kurumi. The cosplay costume was made by COSPATIO and released in Japan last year.

However, fans of Date A Live don’t need to despair, as Kadokawa has also announced that it will hold a Date A Live anniversary livestream on April 5. The livestream will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime and the half-year anniversary of the mobile game. The livestream will also announce new news about the upcoming Date A Live V.
