The official website that went live a few days ago announced that the "official" anime based on the manga "くそみそテクニック" by Junichi Yamakawa, which is the source of the classic "good man" Takakazu Abe and the "Yalanaka" meme, has been approved. Although the announcement date is April Fools' Day, according to multiple media reports, this announcement is not just a "live broadcast." Tokyo Animation is producing this mid-length original video animation for all ages called "New Yaranaika", and the production team plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign in early summer. Trailer video:The story begins with the protagonist Masaki Michishita, an ordinary prep school student, who is rushing to the restroom in the park one day. Although he is in a hurry, he sees the handsome auto mechanic Takakazu Abe sitting on a bench. The two look at each other, and Abe utters the classic phrase "Yala Naika (Can you have one shot?)". This is how the two met. The anime will expand upon the original one-shot manga, incorporating elements from Junichi Yamakawa's other works and adding unique story elements. Junichi Yamakawa published this original comic in the second issue of BaraComi, a spin-off of the Blue Copper magazine Barazoku, in 1987. In the early 2000s, "Yalanaika" became a famous Internet meme. |
