Dolph Lundgren, the famous actor who played the Soviet boxing champion Ivan Drago in "Ragnarok 4", recently accidentally revealed that he was going to star in a spin-off TV series adapted from the game "The Witcher". In an interview with Swedish publication Aftonbladet, he revealed that he is currently filming a spin-off of The Witcher in South Africa, presumably in conjunction with the recently announced story of the Rat Pack that will appear in The Witcher season 3. The Rat Pack is a group of young Nilfgaardian thieves who first appear in The Age of Contempt, the fourth volume of Andy Sapkowski's original novels based on The Witcher. At present, Lundgren's role in the spin-off series has not been announced, but it is speculated that he will play the villain Leo Bonhart and may later appear in the orthodox third season of The Witcher series. The first part of The Witcher Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on June 29, with the second part set to air on July 27. |
