Marvel will soon plan the next decade of MCU movies

The Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes a slew of TV shows and movies, is now 15 years old, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says the MCU isn't coming to an end anytime soon.

At the Cinemacon 2022 Disney conference, Marvel showed about 20 minutes of new footage from Doctor Strange 2 and announced other news. At the conference, Kevin Feige said that Marvel's leadership is currently planning their first retreat in three years, which will be used to plan the next 10 years of the MCU.

There will be a lot to talk about. The MCU is packed with content these days, with a slew of new heroes, including Natalie Portman's female Thor, and a whole multiverse to explore. The MCU has also expanded dramatically into streaming, with shows like Loki and WandaVision driving big-screen growth.

It's hard to predict where the MCU will go in the next decade, but there's no sign that the public will be disappointed with superhero movies any time soon. With a few exceptions, Marvel has rarely made mistakes in this regard.
