Sony plans to expand the Spider-Man universe and launch a female superhero movie

According to Deadline, Sony is planning to expand the Spider-Man Universe and they are planning to launch a female superhero movie.

According to Deadline, Sony has approached Marc Guggenheim, the screenwriter of the "Green Arrow" series, and asked him to write the script for the female hero "Jackpot".

In fact, as early as last year, there were rumors that Sony planned to bring Spider, Jackpot, and Night Watch from Marvel Comics to the big screen, and was looking for a screenwriter. Now it seems that at least the screenwriter for Jackpot has been found, but the situation of Spider and Night Watch is still unknown.

Silk is a Korean girl who, like Spider-Man, gained super powers by being bitten by a spider. She debuted in 2014; Jackpot first debuted in 2007 and was also a member of the government registration list in "Civil War"; Nightwatch fights with the help of a nano combat suit.
