Wang Jing's new film "Monkey King: The Spider Cave" will be released on Tencent Video on May 22

Today (May 19), Tencent Video’s official Weibo account announced that the Journey to the West-themed movie "The Monkey King 3: Cave of the Silken Web" directed by Wang Jing will be launched on Tencent Video on May 22.

"Sun Wukong vs. Pansi Cave" is an online movie written and directed by Wong Jing, starring Benny Chan, Law Kar-ying and Lam Chi-chung. Among them, Tang Monk is played by Law Kar-ying, Sun Wukong is played by Benny Chan, Zhu Bajie is played by Lam Chi-chung, and Sha Monk is played by Huo Xing. The spider spirit in Pansi Cave is starred by Yun Qianqian, Wen Kailing, Zhen Qi and others.

"Sun Wukong vs. Pansi Cave" tells the story of the four masters and apprentices who traveled to Pansi Mountain and encountered the spider spirit Xiaoqi who was trapped by a trap and sent her home. Sun Wukong saw that Xiaoqi's mother and servants were transformed by demons and started to kill them, but Tang Monk mistakenly thought that Wukong killed innocent people, and the master and apprentice broke up.
