'Train to Busan' director Yeon Sang-ho reportedly filming new horror film '35th Street'

According to Deadline, the next film of "Train to Busan" director Yeon Sang-ho has been confirmed. He will co-direct and write the new film "35th Street" under Samsung Pictures with "Parasite: Gray Army" director Yoo Yong.

It is said that "35th Street" is an action horror film and will be Yeon Sang-ho's first English film. It is co-produced by Appian Way and WOW POINT. The project is currently under development and the plot details are kept secret for the time being.

Yeon Sang-ho released his first live-action horror film "Train to Busan" in 2016, which grossed over 98 million U.S. dollars worldwide. After that, he rose to fame around the world and became a well-known director. The movie "Train to Busan" also became a classic replay and a sequel was released in 2020.
