Marvel's Captain America: Brave New World reportedly received 'terrible' test responses

According to entertainment gossip social media account MyTimeToShineHello, the response to the behind-the-scenes test screening of "Captain America 4: Brave New World", the first Marvel movie to be released next year, starring Falcon actor Anthony Machie, was "terrible."

On Twitter the account wrote: "Just got 3 replies from people who went to the preview of Captain America: Brave New World, wow... sounds like the movie was terrible."

It's not just this one person who claims this. Another media outlet, World of Reel, also reported: "Two different cuts of the film were screened last week...People who attended (the screenings) didn't seem to like the film too much. The reactions I heard to the film were not very good, with it being described as 'inconsequential' and 'bland.'"

The screening appears to have come after the film was announced to be undergoing extensive reshoots. MarvelNewsFilms exclusively reported in January that the film would be "undergoing reshoots from May to August." The Hollywood Reporter then reported in late May that the reshoots took 22 days and included the addition of a new villain in the form of Giancarlo Esposito. The reshoots eventually took place during August.
