The DC anti-hero Peacemaker series is one of the few projects that survived the cessation of the previous generation of DC superhero universe. It is getting closer to the start of the second season, and an actor familiar to many American drama fans has joined the project. According to The Wrap, David Denman, an actor from the American TV series "The Office", will play an undisclosed role in the second season of "The Peacemaker". He starred in the series for three seasons, playing the character Pam's ex-fiancé Roy. He also starred in HBO's "East Side Nightmares" and played a supporting role in the film "The Equalizer 3". Also announced was the addition of actress Sol Rodriguez, who will play Sasha Brodeaux, who in the comics is Bruce Wayne's bodyguard. She discovered Batman's true identity, but was framed for murder and forced to separate, eventually appearing as a member of the Suicide Squad's Division Checkmate anti-hero team, and generally turned into a machine. Rodriguez has had roles in Star Trek: Picard, and his credits include NCIS and a major role in Maids. John Cena is confirmed to reprise his role as the anti-hero Peacemaker. A second season premiere date has not yet been set. |
