Water Element announced that the 1987 theatrical version of the animated film "Wicked City", a collaboration between Hideyuki Kikuchi and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri, will be released in Taiwan on April 8. The film takes real Tokyo as the stage background and transforms daily life into a beautiful and cold fairy tale world.

The human world and the demon world sign a peace agreement every 200 years. Taki Renzaburo, an ordinary office worker, is actually a "Dark Guardian" who fights for peace between the human world and the demon world.

In order to sign a truce between the two worlds in Tokyo, he must serve as the guard of the legendary wizard, Joseph Maiardo, who is attending the signing ceremony. His other partner is the dark guard from the demon world, the stunning beauty Makie. They finally met Maiardo at the airport after the raid by the radical elements of the demon world, but found that he was just a willful and lecherous old man, and Taki and Makie's personalities were completely incompatible.

Based on their duty, the two escorted Maiado to the hotel, but they didn't know that the radical elements of the demon world had already set up an ambush and launched an attack, intending to disrupt the signing of the peace treaty. In the midst of numerous crises, can Taki and Makie successfully complete the mission? As the situation develops, Taki and Makie finally discover the more surprising truth behind the whole incident, which is actually related to themselves...
