Recently, Disney+ unveiled three British dramas that will be broadcast in the future during the Edinburgh TV Festival. One of them is adapted from the classic work "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by French science fiction writer Jules Verne. The film is called "Nautilus". The live-action TV series has a total of ten episodes. James Dormer will be the producer and screenwriter of the series, and the series will begin filming in early 2022. This TV series mainly tells the origin story of the young Captain Nemo and his famous submarine "Nautilus". In the series, Nemo is an Indian prince who has been deprived of his identity and family, a prisoner of the East India Company. He is determined to take revenge on the forces that took everything from him. After Captain Nemo boarded his beloved Nautilus, he not only continued to fight the enemy, but also discovered the magical underwater world. Disney released two other series at the TV festival, one is a suspense drama called "Wedding Season" and the other is a police drama called "Culprits". Disney plans to add 50 European-shot series to its streaming platform by 2024, and the three series announced this time are part of it. |
