Marvel will develop Ghost Rider and is expected to appear in "Doctor Strange 2"

According to foreign media reports, Marvel will develop projects related to "Ghost Rider". This character may appear in Marvel's fourth phase movies such as "Doctor Strange 2", or may appear in Disney+ series such as "WandaVision" or develop independent series.

Sony developed two "Ghost Rider" series in 2007 and 2011 respectively ("Ghost Rider" and "Ghost Rider 2: Vengeance"), in which Nicolas Cage played the Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze.

In 2013, the film rights of "Ghost Rider" returned to Marvel. The "fourth generation Ghost Rider" Robbie Reyes also appeared in the third season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", played by Gabriel Luna. Last year, the "Ghost Rider" series originally planned to be developed by HULU and starred by Luna was suddenly cancelled before filming began. Some analysts believe that the reason is that Kevin Feige planned to let him appear in a Marvel movie with a brand new image.

Ghost Rider first appeared in Marvel Spotlight No. 5 (August 1972). The original Ghost Rider was named Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stunt rider. In order to save his adoptive father who had cancer, he made a deal with the devil Mephisto and was possessed by the evil spirit Thanos, thus becoming the Ghost Rider who avenges the innocent, with the power to control hellfire and the Eye of Judgment that can make evil feel pain.
