Emperor Entertainment Group and Louis Koo's company reach cooperation to release 10 Hong Kong films within two years

Recently, Emperor Motion Pictures, owned by Albert Yeung, announced that it will cooperate with One Film Company founded by Louis Koo, and plans to produce and distribute 10 Hong Kong films in the next two years to support the Hong Kong film industry affected by the epidemic.

It is reported that these 10 films will be mainly shot in Hong Kong and employ local film crews to ensure that this cooperation can bring practical help to the Hong Kong film industry and achieve the effect of continuing to expand the local film industry market and discovering film talents. At the same time, the 10 films will cover a variety of genres such as thriller, suspense, romance, comedy, etc., hoping to provide audiences with diversified choices. At present, the two parties have officially signed an agreement and are intensively preparing for the project, which is expected to be launched in the second half of this year.

Regarding this collaboration, Emperor Motion Pictures said, "It is very regrettable to see that the Hong Kong film industry has been shut down due to the epidemic, and film workers are in dire economic straits due to the suspension of work, and are facing a serious problem of talent loss. This time, Emperor Motion Pictures and One Creative Films coincide with each other and support Hong Kong films with practical actions, hoping to help the local film industry recover as soon as possible."

Louis Koo's company One Film also said, "We hope that through this cooperation, we can discover more good scripts for filming and production. One Film has always focused on cultivating a new generation of Hong Kong filmmakers both in front of and behind the scenes. We hope to bring new strength and new direction to Hong Kong films and create a new landscape for Hong Kong films."
