The damaged building in the Kyoto Animation arson incident has been completely demolished and separated by white fences

According to Japanese media reports, after three months of demolition work, the Kyoto Animation Studio 1 building that was severely damaged in the Kyoto arson case was completely demolished on April 28; photos taken at the scene showed that the location where Kyoto Animation Studio 1 was originally located has become flat ground and is surrounded by very high white railings.

On July 18, 2019, the famous Japanese animation production company Kyoto Animation suffered an arson attack . Of the 36 victims, 27 died of burns, 4 died of carbon monoxide poisoning, 2 died of suffocation, and one person could not determine the cause of death. Two other severely burned employees died after rescue efforts failed. On January 7, 2020, the demolition of the Kyoto Animation building, which was severely damaged by the fire, officially began , and is expected to be officially completed in late April. The demolition work has now been basically completed.
