2024 Dragon Boat Festival new film pre-sale box office exceeds 100 million yuan, "Negotiation Expert" temporarily ranks first

According to Lighthouse Professional Edition, as of 16:00 on June 5, the total box office of pre-sales (including previews) of new films in the Dragon Boat Festival period in 2024 has exceeded 100 million!

Among them, "Negotiation Expert" accounted for nearly 1/3 and temporarily ranked first on the box office list.

"The Negotiation Expert" is a movie directed by Herman Yau, written by Yu Min, and starred by Lau Ching Wan and Francis Ng. It tells the story of police negotiation experts Zhuo Wenwei and Xie Jiajun working together to find out the truth of the crime.

Plot summary: In 1996, in Bauhinia City, Zhuo Wenwei, a police negotiator, was murdered in a police corruption case. Zhuo was framed and became a suspect. He hijacked a prison van and fled back to the police headquarters, kidnapped police officers as hostages, and while resisting the police attack, he negotiated with negotiator Xie Jiajun. In the end, the two joined forces to find out the truth and the real murderer was brought to justice.
