Nick Cheung confirmed to star in the film "731" focusing on the crimes committed by the Japanese invaders in China

According to the official Weibo of the movie "731", Nick Cheung has confirmed to star in the film, but the specific role has not yet been announced. The movie "731" focuses on the crimes of the Japanese Army's Unit 731 during World War II, and tells the story of more than 3,000 compatriots who have been persecuted since 1933. The film will be directed by Zhao Linshan, who previously directed the film "Taiwan's Palace" starring Chow Yun-fat and Liu Yifei.

The movie "731" will be written by Liu Heng and produced by Bi Shulin. Other actors include Hai Yitian, Jia Bing and others. The film will be shot on location at the site of the Anda Special Test Site of the 731 Bacteriological Unit of the Japanese Army that invaded China.

Director Zhao Linshan said that the movie "731" does not incite ethnic hatred, but focuses on human care as the main viewing appeal. Through the presentation of human self-salvation, it enhances the "strong country sentiment" of the audience of the time.
