Netflix's "Black Clover: Sword of the Magic Emperor" postponed to June 16

The new theatrical animated film "Black Clover: Sword of the Magic Emperor", a popular anime series, was originally scheduled to be released on March 31. However, the official announcement was made today on February 17 that it will be postponed to June 16. It will also be released simultaneously on Netflix platform worldwide. Stay tuned.

"Black Clover" describes a world where magic is everything. Although Asta, an orphan, was born without magical powers, he still worked tirelessly to train himself.

He and his orphan friend Yuno are determined to compete for the throne of the Magic Emperor. In the magic book granting ceremony, Yuno received the legendary four-leaf magic book, while Asta received the five-leaf magic book of anti-magic. After that, the two of them took the entrance examination of the Magic Knights together. After going through a lot of twists and turns, Asta finally became a member of the Black Bull Knights.

"Black Clover: Sword of the Magic Emperor" will unfold with an original story that is not in the original work, and the author Yumoto Tabata will serve as the chief editor and character original designer, describing the story of the Magic Emperor. The former Magic Emperor Conrad will be played by Toshihiko Seki.
