The new theatrical version of the popular sci-fi animation series "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Battle of Uemon" which fights against undead monsters will be released in the spring of 2019. The story background of "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" is that the world is driven by the waves of industrial revolution. When the world changes from the early modern times to the modern times, undead monsters suddenly appear. People bitten by them seem to be resurrected after dying once and begin to attack humans. After that, these monsters, called Kabane, proliferate explosively and cover the world.
