Wonder Woman 2 is rated PG-13, but violent battles are inevitable

"Wonder Woman 1984" announced at the end of last month that its North American release date would be postponed to August, but now its film rating has been released early. As most fans expected, the film was rated PG-13, the same as most superhero blockbusters.

According to the revelations on Twitter, the official rating description states that the film contains fighting and violent scenes, some nudity and swearing, but does not contain any erotic or bloody scenes.

There were previous rumors that "Wonder Woman 2" would skip theatrical release and go directly to the HBO Max streaming platform. However, it now seems that the postponement of the film means that Warner still took a more traditional approach, but "Wonder Woman 2" may also be released quickly in digital version after its release to cope with the current epidemic isolation situation.

Wonder Woman 2 will be directed by Patty Jenkins, with Gal Gadot, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen and others returning as the main actors. Chris Pine, whose character died in the previous film, will also mysteriously come to 1984. Kristen Wiig from SNL will play the villain Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Narcos, The Mandalorian) will play Max Lord.
