New cast of Shang-Chi: Malaysian Chinese comedian Qian Xinyi

According to foreign media reports, Malaysian Chinese comedian and well-known stand-up comedian Ronny Chieng will join Marvel's first Asian superhero masterpiece "Shang-Chi"! He had signed the contract before the filming was suspended (affected by the new crown epidemic), and the specific role has not yet been revealed.

Qian Xinyi is a Chinese born in Malaysia who grew up in Singapore and New Hampshire. In 2005, he came to Australia alone to study at university. Currently, he is a member of the famous American talk show "The Daily Show" and serves as a commentator and reporter for the Trevor Noah Show. Chinese culture and Chinese concepts are important elements in his jokes.

At this time, there are no clues as to who Qian Xinyi will play in Shang-Chi or what scenes he has filmed.

"Shang-Chi" will be released in North America on February 12, 2021, the first day of the Lunar New Year. Canadian-Chinese Simu Liu will play the protagonist "Shang-Chi", Tony Leung will play "Mandarin", and "Crazy Rich Asians" heroine Awkwafina will join.
