The manga "Tanabe no Kuni" created by "Parasyte" author Hitoshi Iwaaki was originally serialized in Shogakukan's "Big Comic Spirits" in 1996. Recently, Disney officially announced that its live-action adaptation of the same name will be exclusively broadcast on Disney+ on July 4.

It is understood that the drama will be directed by Yusuke Taki, and the actor Yota Hosoda will play the protagonist Yoji Minamimaru, and Yamada Takayuki, Fujino Ryoko, Uesugi Shuhei, Kiryu Aso, Mikami Hiroshi and others will also participate.

The original story of "Tanabata no Kuni" mainly tells the story of a senior student, Minamimaru Yoji, who received an invitation from Marugami teacher and unexpectedly formed a reasoning group with Mr. Emi and others.
