"Hawkeye" actor Jeremy Renner confirmed to star in "Knives Out 3"

After playing a cameo as the spokesperson for a hot sauce brand in Knives Out 2: The Glass Onion, Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in Marvel Studios, has confirmed that he will star in Knives Out 3: Waking the Dead. The role he will play has not yet been announced.

According to DEADLINE, he will join the already confirmed all-star cast, including Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Josh O'Connor, Carly Spaeny and Andrew Scott. "007" actor Daniel Craig will return to play the protagonist, detective Benoit Blanc.

The film will be Jeremy Renner's first feature-length work since the snowplow accident that nearly killed him in 2023. After recovering from the accident, he filmed an American NFL Super Bowl commercial, a running shoe commercial, and the third season of the series "Mayor of Kingston" on the streaming platform Paramount+.

Knives Out 3: Waking the Dead will be released in theaters and on Netflix in 2025.
