The loss of the withdrawal of "007: No Time to Die" is probably around this number.

The 25th James Bond film, "No Time to Die", was originally scheduled to be released in April this year, but now it has to be withdrawn due to the global coronavirus epidemic and postponed to November this year.

According to sources obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the direct losses caused by the withdrawal may be between 30 million and 50 million US dollars, because the film company has already carried out a lot of pre-promotion work according to the plan of release in April, and the withdrawal may also lead to a 30% reduction in box office revenue.

MGM hopes that the film's attendance will be higher than originally expected after its release, thus offsetting some of the losses. MGM has reportedly invested $4.5 million in Super Bowl advertising, and the leading actors have also gone on a massive promotional tour. These promotional methods are time-sensitive, and if the popularity wanes in November, the marketing investment will be wasted.

No Time to Die is due to be released in the UK on November 12 and in the US on November 25.
