Everyday group drama! Countdown to the release of the movie "Shirobako"

Today (February 27), the latest theatrical version of PAWORKS Studio's original animation "Shirobako" released a countdown picture for the release, which was drawn by Atsushi Saito. The theatrical version is scheduled to be released on February 29, so stay tuned.

Countdown to the release of "Shirobako":

Shirobako is a Japanese original TV animation produced by PAWORKS and directed by Mizushima Tsutomu. It is also the second work in the "Working Girl Series" after Hanasaku Monogatari in 2011. The animation production was announced on August 8, 2014, and premiered on TOKYO MX and other channels in October of the same year, with a total of 24 episodes. On April 28, 2018, the official announced the production of the theatrical animation.

This work is based on the animation industry, and many characters and things reflect famous people and things related to the real industry. The story of the TV animation mainly revolves around five girls who are chasing their dreams - Aoi Miyamori, Ema Yasuhara, Shizuka Sakaki, Misa Fujido, and Midori Imai. It is a group portrait work that describes the daily troubles they encounter as they strive to complete Shirobako, the entanglements and setbacks they encounter when planning their work, and the unity and conflicts of the production team when making works.

The animated theatrical version of "Shirobako" is scheduled to be released on February 29th, so stay tuned.
