New developments in Aquaman 2: Wilson returns to play Aquaman's brother King Orm again

The DC superhero movie Aquaman directed by James Wan has grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide, and the sequel Aquaman 2 has already started filming. Patrick Wilson, who played Aquaman's brother, the ocean lord "Lord Orm" in Aquaman 1, recently confirmed in an interview that he will return to play the role again in Aquaman 2.

Wilson told foreign media: "I talked to Director Wen a little about the fate of King Orm. He said he had been thinking about it. What I can tell you is that in Director Wen's concept, he has dug deeper into this character."

The two protagonists of the previous film, Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, will also return to the crew. David Leslie Johnson, who was responsible for the script of "Aquaman", will also return to the crew to continue writing the script for the sequel.

Currently, James Wan is filming the new horror film "Fatal Premonition". It is expected that after the filming of "Fatal Premonition" is completed, James Wan will devote himself to the full filming of "Aquaman 2". According to the plan, the film is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2022.
