It has been more than ten years since Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy "The Dark Knight" ended, and he recently won an Oscar for "Oppenheimer". His younger brother Jonathan Nolan, who is responsible for writing the screenplay for these classic superhero movies, has also been busy. In addition to "Person of Interest" and "Westworld", he recently served as executive producer and director of the "Fallout" game adaptation live-action series, which has also achieved great success. In a recent interview, Jonathan revealed that if he had the opportunity to return to Gotham City, he would definitely take it. When asked if he wanted to restart the series, he said: "That really sounds like a dream come true!" He continued: "From getting the call to shoot Batman Begins in 2003 to The Dark Knight Rises in 2012 was an epic 10-year journey of my life. To have the opportunity to work with Crystal, Heath (Ledger), Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and all of these amazing actors and American icons on these films. So, if I had the opportunity to go back and shoot it again - I absolutely would!" Jonathan worked on all three Dark Knight films, writing the second and third installments with his brother Christopher. He also went on to co-write the 2014 science fiction film Interstellar with his brother, and created, directed and wrote the TV series Westworld. |
