The second season of the new animation "Fruits Basket" is announced to start in 2020

The final episode of the first season of the new animated version of the classic manga "Fruits Basket" based on the original work by Japanese manga artist Natsuki Takaya was aired on September 20. Today, on September 22, it was officially announced that the 2nd season of the new animation of "Fruits Basket" will also be aired in 2020, so stay tuned.

"Fruits Basket" is one of the famous girls' comics. It tells the story of the heroine Honda Toru, whose parents died and she went to live with her grandfather. Honda Toru went to camp in the wild and unexpectedly met the hot topic handsome boy in school, Sohma Yuki, who is called the prince, as well as Sohma Kyo and Sohma Shigure. The Sohma family is not only a famous family, but also carries the curse, bond and touching of the twelve zodiac signs for generations.

The previous "Fruits Basket" animation version was launched in 2001. Now it has been remade after 18 years. Can all the fans of Fruits Basket still find the original feeling? Two new characters for the second season have been announced: Sho Manabe will be played by Takuya Eguchi and Machi Kuraki will be played by Ai Kakuma.
