Japanese version of Chernobyl "Fukushima 50" released trailer starring Ken Watanabe

The movie "Fukushima 50", which focuses on the nuclear leakage accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, has released a trailer, restoring the scene of the tsunami after the 311 Japan earthquake. Koichi Sato plays Izaki Toshio, the on-duty person in charge of the No. 1 and 2 reactors of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant when the accident occurred, and Ken Watanabe plays Yoshida Masao, the station manager of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. After the nuclear leakage accident, 50 staff members, including the two, stayed in the nuclear power plant for emergency repairs, known as the "Fukushima 50."

The film is based on the documentary novel "The Truth about the Fukushima Nuclear Accident" by Takamasa Kadota, and truly records the story of the "311 Fukushima Fifty" that shocked the world. On March 11, 2011, Japan suffered a devastating earthquake and a nuclear leak at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Fifty people formed a rescue team and stayed in the dangerous nuclear power plant to prevent the situation from deteriorating further. They were called "Fukushima 50" by the world media.
