Kyoto Animation, which suffered a severe blow, is trying hard to get back on its feet. Its latest theatrical version "Violet Evergarden Gaiden -Eternity and Auto Memory Doll~" will be released tomorrow, September 6. On September 4, Kyoto Animation announced that it would break the company's long-standing practice and announce the list of all staff involved in the production of the film at the end of the film, including those who died and were injured in the arson case. Violet Evergarden is a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase, published by Kyoto Animation's KA ESUMA Bunko. It is also the winner of the 5th Kyoto Animation Award. The work tells a series of tear-jerking yet healing stories about Violet Evergarden during her post-war ghostwriting work. The film will be officially released in Japan from September 6 to September 26. Presumably, this theatrical version will once again bring a heart-warming and touching journey to all comic fans. Kyoto Animation stated that the company's original practice was to only include employees who had been working for more than one year in the credits, but this time they will make an exception and announce the names of all the staff involved in the production of the film, including those who died or were injured in the arson case, as proof that all the staff involved in the production once existed in the world. |
