Violet Evergarden is a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase, published by Kyoto Animation's KA ESUMA Bunko. It is also the winner of the 5th Kyoto Animation Award. The work tells a series of tear-jerking yet healing stories about Violet Evergarden during her post-war ghostwriting work. The film will be officially released in Japan from September 6 to September 26. Presumably, this theatrical version will once again bring a heart-warming and touching journey to all comic fans.
