The movie "Mulan" is adapted from the Disney animation based on Chinese folklore. The first Chinese Disney princess in a live-action movie wields a sword and tells the story of Hua Mulan disguising herself as a man and joining the army in place of her father. Liu Yifei plays Hua Mulan, Donnie Yen plays General Tang, Gong Li plays the witch, Jet Li plays the emperor, Li Jie plays the Shanyu, and An Yousen plays Chen Honghui.

Disney has taken the Chinese market into consideration in all aspects of Mulan. The film was screened internally in China. In the early version, Mulan and Chen Honghui had a kiss on the bridge. Niki Caro said that although the scene was very beautiful, the Chinese side gave the opinion that "it cannot be filmed like this, it is not suitable for Chinese audiences." So it was deleted.

The movie "Mulan" will be released in North America on March 27, and the release date in mainland China is to be determined.
