No Longer Human is a famous novella written by Japanese novelist Dazai Osamu. It was published in 1948. It is an autobiographical novel. In the work, Dazai Osamu cleverly hides his life and thoughts in the life experience of the protagonist Yozo. Through Yozo's monologue, we can peek into Dazai Osamu's inner world - "a life full of shame". In the same year when the work was published, Dazai Osamu committed suicide. This film tells the story behind the birth of the novel from the perspective of the three women that Dazai Osamu loved deeply.
