Kyoto Animation thanks domestic and overseas supporters and will open a special account to receive donations

According to livedoornews' Twitter account citing NHK Kansai News, there has been new development in the arson case of Kyoto Animation's first studio.

First, in interviews with major media outlets, attorney Daisuke Okeda, who represents Kyoto Animation, explained the preventive measures against arson at Studio 1.

According to the information, the first studio has surveillance cameras installed in four locations, including the front entrance and the staff entrance, to check the entry and exit of employees and visitors. These entrances and exits are locked and the shutters are closed at night, but because employees enter and exit during working hours during the day, they are always open.

In addition, Kyoto Animation expressed its gratitude for the assistance from all walks of life at home and abroad, and in response, it will open a special account on its official website to receive aid funds. The support funds received will be used to help the affected employees and their families.
