The Flash movie is having trouble making a profit, and the filmmakers are desperate to turn to NFT

The Flash was a disaster for DC and Warner Bros. The superhero film starring Ezra Miller became one of the industry's biggest failures at the box office. There are many factors that contributed to this problem, and Warner Bros. and DC have lowered their bottom line to recoup their costs from the film, and they have turned their attention to blockchain.

Warner Bros.’ digital collectibles division, the company’s official NFT/Web3 division, recently released The Flash Web3 Movie Experience, the first “new” movie to be released on Warner Bros.’ blockchain service after releasing similar “experiences” for older movies like The Lord of the Rings and the 1978 Superman movie. This limited edition Flash experience includes strange interactive environments that can be swiped on your phone, which are based on scenes from the movie, as well as digital collectibles such as cards and models. The whole package also includes a digital copy of the movie, access to special features, and the normal things you would get from purchasing a digital service.

There's nothing wrong with these things in themselves, but when all of them are combined with a stale market, they show the desperate desire of the manufacturers to get any return on a movie that failed in the conventional market.
