The heroine of the American sci-fi drama "Wool Wars" shared new news: two seasons will be filmed in a row

"Wool American Drama" star Rebecca Ferguson has provided the latest news about the hit Apple sci-fi series, revealing that the final two seasons of the series - Season 3 and Season 4 will be filmed back-to-back and will end the series with a very dramatic ending.

"We're looking at greenlighting season 3 and season 4 right now," Ferguson told Collider. "I think we'll probably shoot them together and it will be the finale."

"I believe the show has an ending and, to be honest, I know when it ends and I don't think it's a secret." She then confirmed that the show will be faithful to the original book it is adapted from, The Wool War trilogy by Hugh Howey.

The first season of the show premiered in 2023 and received an 88% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. At the end of the first season, the heroine Julia discovered the "truth" of the outside world on the banned hard drive and stepped out of the bunker herself. However, the truth is not as simple as it seems.

Before Seasons 3 and 4, fans are eagerly awaiting Season 2, which is set to premiere sometime in 2025. Ferguson confirmed that filming has already been completed on Season 2.
