"Xu Fu: Searching for the Answer to Eternal Life" was produced by Li Shi Films and Japanese TV. It started filming in February 2018 and tells the most legendary folk legend in Chinese history. Wu Ming (played by Huang Lige), a Chinese student, met Fukuzumi Shoko (played by Itano Tomomi) in Japan and followed the wishes of his deceased grandfather to embark on a story of tracing the traces of Xu Fu 2,300 years ago.
