Donnie Yen may star in the newest Marvel Asian superhero movie Shang-Chi: The Cast Announced

Marvel's first Asian superhero movie "Shang-Chi" will start shooting in Sydney, but fans at home and abroad have been arguing about who will star in "Shang-Chi". Previously, fans strongly recommended Mike Moh, who played Bruce Lee in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", as "Shang-Chi", but recently Marvel announced two actors for "Shang-Chi": Ludi Lin and Ross Butler.

Currently, Ludi Lin (Black Mirror Season 5) and Ross Butler (13 Reasons Why, Shazam) have appeared on the official casting list for Shang-Chi. Marvel intends to invite Donnie Yen to play an unidentified role and wants to discuss with him. The report speculates that this role may be a "wise, elderly politician" because they have also heard that Marvel is looking for an actor for such a role. Comparing the two, they think that Marvel wants to talk to Donnie Yen about this role. The casting of Shang-Chi has not yet been determined.

The screenwriter of Shang-Chi is currently confirmed to be Dave Callaham (Doom, Wonder Woman 2) and the director is Destin Cretton (Shelter, The Glass Castle). However, the role of Shang-Chi has not yet been selected, and the film has not yet been scheduled.
