Netflix and CLAMP release their first new animation project "Grimm"

According to foreign media reports today on June 15, Netflix announced that it will cooperate with the famous Japanese comic group CLAMP for the first time to create a new animation plan called "Grimm". As the name suggests, this will be a new animation series based on "Grimm's Fairy Tales". Let's take a look.

It is reported that as early as 2020, Netflix had reached a cooperation intention with CLAMP. Today, the news of this new plan was announced at the "Anusi International Animation Festival 2021". The new plan is tentatively named "Grimm" and will be based on "Grimm's Fairy Tales". The character setting is of course the responsibility of CLAMP, the animation production is WIT STUDIO, and the script is written by Michiko Yokote.

CLAMP also unveiled its latest artwork for Grimm. The official title of the new animation and detailed information about the characters in the plot have not yet been released, so please stay tuned for further reports.

CLAMP is an anime creation group composed of four women, Igarashi Kangetsu, Okawa Nanase, Nekoi Tsubaki, and Mokona. Their representative works include "Saints of the Underworld", "Magic Knight", "Cardcaptor Sakura", etc. As of 2017, the total sales of CLAMP's comics in Japan exceeded 100 million copies, and they were published in more than 20 countries including the United States, France, China, and South Korea.
