Disney to film Hawkeye standalone series, Jeremy Renner to continue starring

According to Deadline, Disney's streaming platform Disney+ will work with Marvel to shoot an independent TV series of "Hawkeye", and the previous actor Jeremy Renner will continue to star in it. It is rumored that the series will be a new adventure series, telling the story of archery master Clint Barton handing over the baton of "Hawkeye" to female Hawkeye Kate Bishop.

Jeremy Renner has been playing the role of Hawkeye since 2011, and has since shown a perfect Hawkeye image in films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, and also made a cameo appearance in Thor. In Avengers: Endgame, which will be released on April 24, Hawkeye will be transformed into a real "Ronin" with a new code name: Ronin (a name for a samurai without a master).

The standalone series "Hawkeye" will be the fourth streaming TV series announced by Disney+, following "Loki" (starring Tom Hiddleston), "The Vision and the Scarlet Witch" (starring Elizabeth Olsen), and "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" (starring Paul Bettany).
