"Mobile Suit Gundam: The Battle Across Time" is scheduled to be released on April 4th during the Qingming Festival

@The official Weibo account of the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: The Battle Across Time announced that the latest masterpiece in the "Gundam" series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Battle Across Time", will be released on April 4, the Qingming Festival, and also released a release date trailer and poster.

Trailer Description:

The universe is not above our heads, but under our feet. We who were born on the colony satellite have never experienced real gravity, real sky, and of course, real sea.

The movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Battle Across Time" tells the story of a high school student named Amanote Ryouha who was born in a colony satellite and has never experienced real gravity and the sky. Because of a sudden encounter, the code of his fate has been rewritten and he accidentally becomes the pilot of the Gundam "GQuuuuuuX". The film is based on the collision of "future wasteland" and "digital utopia", creating an if line of the UC era and a brand new story.

The film's behind-the-scenes team is considered the "golden lineup" of the Japanese animation industry - director Kazuya Tsurumaki (Neon Genesis Evangelion series), screenwriter Yoji Enodo (Neon Genesis Evangelion), and Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla) form the "iron triangle", and mechanical design is led by Ikuto Yamashita (Neon Genesis Evangelion). Hideaki Anno, the soul of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, incorporated his wild imagination and stream-of-consciousness narrative into the Gundam universe, creating this "parallel universe love letter dedicated to all Gundam fans."
