The manga "Land of the Lustrous" is about to release the final chapter. Only two chapters have been released since the resumption of publication.

The manga "Land of the Lustrous" created by Haruko Ichikawa has been serialized in the December issue of "Monthly AFTERNOON" since 2012.

This work was on hiatus in December 2020 (resumed publication in June 2022) and October 2023 (resumed publication in February this year).

Recently, the latest episode 107 of Land of the Lustrous was released after it was republished, and it was announced that the work will be concluded in the next issue of Monthly AFTERNOON. This means that the June issue of Monthly AFTERNOON, which will be released on April 25, will mark the end of Land of the Lustrous, and the work has only been updated with two episodes since it was republished.

The story of Kingdom of the Lustrous takes place in the distant future, when there are only 28 humanoid beings with gem bodies left on Earth, and their leader, Sensei Kongo. In order to resist the mysterious "Moon People" who want to take the gems back to the moon as decorations and invade day after day, they assign different responsibilities to each other and form combat teams in pairs, ready to fight at any time.
