A new trailer for Malaysia's local modern warfare action film "Navy Special Operations Force" has been released. The film is directed by Malaysian local director Zheng Jianguo ("The Thing Called Marriage") and is based on the operations of the Malaysian Navy Special Forces. It is reported that the film received support from the Malaysian military during filming. The film's English title, Paskal, refers to an elite force of the Royal Malaysian Navy. The story focuses on Paskal Lieutenant Colonel Arman Anwar, who leads his team to rescue an oil tanker hijacked by Somali pirates. It can be called the Malaysian version of "Wolf Warrior". The film's streaming rights have been purchased by Netflix and will be broadcast on March 15. |
