World's first 3D panoramic scan of Titanic completed, new discoveries made on the wreck

The huge wreckage of the prototype of the movie "Titanic", which moved countless audiences back then, is still sleeping in the deep sea. According to a report by the British BBC, the world's first 3D panoramic scanning image of the Titanic has been completed. The scientific team has spent huge manpower and material resources just to explore new discoveries in the shipwreck.

It is said that when the Titanic first sailed in 1912, it hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean and sank to a depth of 3,800 meters. Until today, due to the great difficulty of exploration, there is still no complete 3D panoramic scan image.

Jointly funded by a deep-sea technology company and a documentary team, the film took more than 200 hours of repeated filming by a remote-controlled submarine and collected more than 700,000 photos from all angles of the wreck to complete the world's first 3D panoramic scan of the Titanic.

Although it is generally recognized that the Titanic sank because it hit an iceberg, the team said that this complete modeling may reveal the real mystery and reason for the Titanic's death on that fateful night. Stay tuned.
