According to foreign media The Sun, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been officially invited to play the seventh generation James Bond, replacing Daniel Craig, who has played the most famous spy of MI6 for 15 years.

Sources familiar with the matter said that 007 movie producer Eon Productions has planned to start shooting a new 007 movie this year and plans to produce it at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. A new script is currently being written.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, was previously reported to be in the running for the role of 007, along with Oscar winner Cillian Murphy, Idris Elba, Henry Cavill and James Norton.
