The most mysterious 300 million yen case in Japanese history is about to be adapted into a comic in Shonen Jump!

Although the crime rate is extremely low, the island country also has many bizarre cases. The famous "300 Million Yen Case" is well-known around the world for its keywords such as being completely non-violent, unsolved to this day, and the largest loss in a single case in history. Today, Shueisha announced that this bizarre case has officially entered "Weekly Shonen Jump" and will start serializing in comics!

First, let’s take a brief look at the “300 Million Yen Case”. On December 10, 1968, Japanese society was still in an unstable era with frequent bombings. The criminals cleverly took advantage of people’s entangled psychology about the “bomb incident”. They first deliberately released smoke bombs a few days in advance to claim that it was a bomb attack. After successfully diverting the attention of the police and the public, they pretended to be police officers to stop the armored car, pretended that there was a bomb on fire in the armored car to scare away the escorts, and easily swindled the armored car away, creating the appalling 300 million yen case.

The comic version of "Weekly Shonen Jump" will be drawn by MUSASHI , a newcomer to Shonen Jump who has won the "Sports Comic Award". The plot is based on Shirata's YY novel of the same name. Let's speculate on the mind of the most successful criminal in Japanese history who is still at large. Stay tuned!
