The movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be released in China on November 9. The pre-sale of the movie has exceeded 40 million RMB, setting a record for the highest pre-sale box office of a single superhero movie in the same period in the history of mainland China. The box office of Venom: Let There Be Carnage exceeded 40 million in the first three days of its release, surpassing the box office of this year's popular Marvel blockbusters Black Panther and Ant-Man 2 during the same period, setting a record for the best pre-sale box office of a single superhero movie in mainland China's film history. At the same time, the film also surpassed the pre-sale box office of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 6 during the same period, becoming the third best pre-sale box office of Hollywood blockbusters in mainland China in 2018.

After its overseas release, the film swept 66 countries and regions around the world, dominating the global weekend box office charts for three consecutive weeks. The global box office has now reached US$543 million.

The movie Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze and Reid Scott. The movie will be released in Chinese theaters on November 9 in 3D, IMAX 3D, China Giant Screen 3D, Dolby Atmos and other formats.
